Make It Your Way - Cricut Circle Blog Contest

Hello Everyone,

This is my submission for the Make It Yourself Challenge on the Cricut Circle Blog. We had to create a project that was inspired by magazine articles in the Cricut Circle Magazine! Here is what I came up with:

The Hot Air Balloon came from the Everyday Pop Up Cartridge (cut at 3 inches). The card base was cut by welding two shapes from the Elegant Edges Cartridge (both images were sized at 5.5 inches; layer cut at 5 inches). Lastly, the "SOAR" sentiment was cut from the From the Nest Cricut Cartridge at 1.25 inches. 

My project was inspired by numerous projects in the Cricut Circle Magazine! The Kraft coloured paper was inspired by all the "manly" "cards in this issue. The general layout of the card was inspired by the Little Boy's Happy Birthday Card. I was influenced to create a shaped card because of all the wonderful shaped cards in this edition! This is were my inspiration came from for this card.
