Design Team Thursday - Golf Birthday Card

Hello Everyone,

Last week was my dad's birthday! I thought to myself - Joy's Father and Son Stamp Set would be perfect for the occasion! This simple A2 sized card features paper from the DCWV Guy's Paper Pack. The strip of the craft cardstock was punched out using a punch from EK Success. The golf clubs were cut at 4.25 inches from the Wrap it Up Cricut Cartridge. As I mentioned before, the "To an Awesome Dad" sentiment was created by mixing stamps from the Father and Son Stamp Set! I did a quick stitch around the card to give it a finished look!

Easter Basket Blog Hop Winner!

Hello Everyone,

The lucky winner of the Peachy Keen Princess Assortment Pack
is
Cathy S, lucky number 49. She commented:

"Kyle your basket and assortment cards would be a great Easter give for an adult, who wouldn't want to receive these beautiful cards to send out. Thanks for the youtube link she does make it look easy. Thank you for a chance to win the PK faces stamps, sometimes the Cricut cuts just don't make the image faces pop like the PK stamps seem to do in ALL the projects I see using them."

Cathy, I will be emailing you soon to get your shipping information with my personal email!

Thanks to everyone that participated in this blog hop!
I hope you all enjoyed, Stay tuned for more projects,

Easter Basket Blog Hop

Hello Everyone,

I am so excited to be apart of the Easter Basket Blog Hop! Our theme was to create something that could go inside an Easter Basket or make an Easter Basket. I decided to do both! Here is what I created:

I created an Easter Basket, that is simple, easy, and fun. These baskets would be a great to give to an adult instead of sugar filled treats! They take no time to make! I admit, I had some help from my friend Mona. Here is the video she created that helped me out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fqs0Srx2PiU

I used a scalloped circle cut at 1.75" from the Celebrations Cricut Cartridge to cut out this shape (you could also use a paper punch). The stamp was from a Recollections Stamp set that I had previously bought at Michaels.

To fasten the handles of the basket, I used a brad which were then covered with these cute, pink, paper roses that are from Michaels (Recollections). I had picked them up when they were 40% off ! These are the next best things the Prima Flowers!

I filled the basket with some cute cards that I had made:

All the cards measure 3.25" by 3.25" and were embossed with different Cuttlebug Folders. The cute sentiments are from Joy's Lots of Puns Stamp Set. I really enjoy using her awesome stamps! The cute little animals are from the Create a Critter Cricut Cartridge (one of the most used cartridges in my collection!). Their cute faces are from Peachy Keen Stamps!

Blog Candy!

What is a blog hop without any blog candy! Today, I will be giving away:

Peachy Keen Stamps: Princess Face Assortment!

Spring Design Team Project

Hello Everyone,

This spring inspired card is fun and simple to make! It is a regular A2 sized card. The paper is from DCWV Mod Retro Stack (it is so awesome!).  The “Thank You” stamp is from Joy’s Mother & Daughter stamp set.  The flower was cut at 3.75 from the Smiley Cards Cartirdge (the face is from Peachy Keen Stamps). Add some twine and some extra details, and your project is finished!

Thank you for visiting my blog,
